class braincore.random.maxwell(size=None, key=None, dtype=None)

Sample from a one sided Maxwell distribution.

The scipy counterpart is scipy.stats.maxwell.

Parameters:

• key (Union[int, Array, ndarray, None]) – a PRNG key.

• size (Union[int, Sequence[int], None]) – The shape of the returned samples.

• dtype (Union[str, type[Any], dtype, SupportsDType, None]) – The type used for samples.

• key – a PRNG key or a seed.

Returns:

A jnp.array of samples, of shape shape.
